Public Safety Diver

A Public Safety diver receives a call at 0300 hrs. and is told there are people trapped in a submerged vehicle, it is impossible to say, "Call me back later or when conditions are better".  Even though it may be snowing, the air temperature may be twenty degrees and the water may be forty degrees or below.  The Public Safety Diver accepts a responsibility to respond.  With proper training and practice you can respond with an excellent chance for a safely completed search and/or rescue and a safe return home.

This program is best suited to provide training to personnel involved with emergency squads, fire companies, civil defense units, police departments, and other groups involved in this type of work.
